The first several photographs where all taken during a summer studio I took in Rome, Italy. The studio was based within Rome with several of the images shown taken from various trips throughout Italy. Some of the images shown discuss my ideas of “Reflections in Rome” while the others vary from details of hand rails to building typologies. I am in no way an expert in the areas of photography, and do this as a hobby. Every image captured here is taken with a Nikon D5000 with the standard 18-55mm kit lens. The amount of post processing varies with each of these images, but most just received slight level adjustments, black/white processing, and cropping. Only one of the images shown is an example of HDR, where the idea was to capture the scene with a chronographic understanding of spatial conditions. The photographs that follow the Rome trip are from my recent trip to Japan.
